How do I change my plan, seats, or billing details?
Upgrade, downgrade, switch to annual billing, update payment details, and understand what happens at renewal.

Billing is managed by the workspace Owner. Admins cannot access it.
Change plan
Settings → Billing → Change plan.
| Change | When it applies | Charge |
|---|---|---|
| Upgrade | Immediately | Prorated for the remaining term |
| Downgrade | Next renewal | None now |
| Monthly → annual | Immediately | Annual total, less unused monthly credit |
| Annual → monthly | Next renewal | None now |
Annual billing saves 20%.
Add or remove seats
Seats are named users with a login. Adding a seat is prorated and immediate. Removing a seat applies at the next renewal.
Guides who receive manifests without logging in do not consume a seat.
Update payment details
Settings → Billing → Payment method. Card details are handled by Stripe; Tripistic never sees or stores the full number.
If a payment fails we retry and email the owner. Repeated failures restrict access before suspension — update the card promptly.
Invoices
Every invoice is downloadable from Settings → Billing → Invoices. Add your VAT or tax number and billing address there so they appear on the invoice; retroactive reissues are possible but slower than getting it right once.
Cancel
Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current term — you keep access until then.
After the term ends, your data remains exportable for 30 days. Export it before that window closes.
Refunds
- Annual plans: full refund within 30 days of the charge.
- Monthly plans: full refund within 14 days of a first charge, if the workspace was not substantively used.
- Billing errors — duplicate charges, charges after cancellation, wrong tier — refunded in full, always.
Full detail in the Refund Policy.
Enterprise
Enterprise agreements are governed by the order form. Contact sales@tripistic.com for seat changes, invoicing terms, or a negotiated SLA.
